'I'm a first time buyer and was therefore a complete novice when it came to mortgages and the whole process of buying a property. I was referred to Search Mortgage Solutions by an estate agent who I had contacted to try and arrange to view some properties and I met up with David. David listened carefully to my personal circumstances and explained in clear jargon free language the options that would be open to me and the service that Search Mortgage Solutions could offer. David’s manner was calm and friendly and I felt able to take my time and ask any questions that I needed to. At no point did I feel that I was being pressured or given the hard sell as I did with one previous mortgage company that I had spoken to. Furthermore Search Mortgage Solutions are paid by the lender and therefore offered me this fantastic service free whereas other companies that had offered me advice would have charged. I will not consider using anyone but Search Mortgage Solutions when my fixed rate expires and I need to find another mortgage in two years time.'

As first time buyers we were initially baffled by the range of mortgages on offer, and heaps of paperwork, but David found us an excellent deal, and also sorted out our insurance to boot! As we are both teachers, we tend to be really busy, and the fact that David always came to us, and at a time that suited us was invaluable. We were under quite a bit of pressure during our last property purchase, having to complete within some very tight timelines, so getting the right mortgage pushed through on time was critical.
Once David had identified a suitable mortgage product he really pulled out the stops to get all of the paperwork completed and signed off in plenty of time for our completion.
Throughout the whole process David would always meet us at a time and place to suit us (sometimes even as late at 10pm!). He also regularly provided us, and the estate agents, with status updates which did wonders to calm the nerves!
